  2. Step 2 of 5

    Inspection

Calgary's spring potholes and gravel roads wear suspension parts faster than many drivers expect. Worn ball joints, tie rods and sway-bar links cause knocks over bumps and vague steering; tired shocks and struts lengthen stopping distances and make the vehicle bounce.

    What's included

    • Hoist inspection of steering and suspension joints
    • Shock and strut condition check
    • Tire wear pattern review
    • Written estimate with photos
    • Torque to specification
    • Road test after the work
  3. Step 3 of 5

    Written estimate & your approval

We inspect, then send photos and a written estimate.

No approval, no work. Many jobs are finished the same day.

    Prices & typical times

Estimated pricing — final cost depends on vehicle, parts and scope. Prices in CAD + GST (5% GST).

    Pick up & aftercare

After steering or suspension work we recommend a wheel alignment so your tires wear evenly; we'll include it in your estimate when it is needed.

FAQ

Questions about suspension & steering

Anything else? Call the shop – we answer during opening hours.

+1 403-571-2886
Can I drive with a clunking suspension?

A clunk usually means a worn joint or link. It is rarely an emergency, but a badly worn ball joint or tie rod can fail – book an inspection soon.

Do shocks and struts need replacing in pairs?

Yes, on the same axle. Replacing one side only makes the vehicle handle unevenly.

Do you work on lifted trucks?

Stock and mildly modified light trucks, yes. Heavily lifted vehicles may need a specialist; we will tell you up front.
