  2. Step 2 of 5

    Inspection

Air conditioning is not only for summer: the A/C compressor also dries the air for the defroster, which clears a fogged windshield much faster in winter. A system that is low on refrigerant has a leak somewhere – topping it up without finding the leak wastes money.

    The work

FAQ

Questions about air conditioning

Anything else? Call the shop – we answer during opening hours.

+1 403-571-2886
Why is my A/C blowing warm air?

Most often low refrigerant from a leak, but it can also be a failed compressor clutch, a blend-door actuator or an electrical fault.

Why does R-1234yf cost more?

Newer vehicles use R-1234yf, which has a much lower environmental impact but costs more per kilogram than R-134a. We estimate after checking your system.

Should I run the A/C in winter?

Yes – defrost runs the compressor, keeps seals lubricated and clears fog quickly.
