Inspection
Road salt, de-icers and freeze–thaw cycles are tough on brakes in Calgary. Calipers seize, slide pins corrode and rear brakes often wear faster than drivers expect. Our inspection measures pad thickness and disc condition and checks hoses, lines and fluid.

The work
When replacement is needed we fit quality pads with new hardware, clean and lubricate the slide pins, and replace discs (rotors) when they are below specification, warped or badly corroded.

How do I know my brakes need attention?

Squealing or grinding, a pulsing pedal, the vehicle pulling to one side, a soft or low pedal, or a brake warning light. If the pedal sinks to the floor, do not drive – call us.

Why are rear brakes wearing out on my vehicle?

Many modern vehicles use the rear brakes for stability control and electronic parking brakes, and rear calipers are exposed to salt and slush. Rear wear is common in Calgary.

Do you always replace discs?

No. If discs are within specification and not warped or badly corroded, we reuse them.
