A trouble code points to a circuit or system, not to a specific broken part. That is why replacing parts based on a code alone so often fails. We check freeze-frame and live data, test the circuit and confirm the fault before recommending a repair.

We use professional multi-make scan tools, a multimeter and lab scope, and a smoke machine for vacuum and evaporative-emission leaks. We can also run relearns and service functions after repairs.

If the light is steady and the vehicle drives normally, it is usually OK to drive gently to us soon. If it is flashing, or you have loss of power, overheating or a burning smell, pull over safely and call us.
Can you just clear the code?
We can, but the light will come back if the fault is still there – and clearing codes erases data we need for diagnosis. We recommend diagnosing first.
How long does diagnosis take?
Typically 45–90 minutes. Intermittent or electrical faults can take longer; we agree a time limit with you first.
